------------ GL responds: To move this dialog on Goan idiosyncrasy forward can someone write about some of the other do's and dont's when it comes to marriage? I learnt one issue some time ago. "It is not good fortune to marry a girl born after three boys." Can someone explain such and "any other obscurantist hangover from an earlier time" and other such nuances in the Goan customs?
