Very few Goanet readers will be new to knowledge of the Tata brand.
Established by Parsis during the British era, the Tata family were successful
traders and businessmen whose talent was predominant in three areas.
1) They valued ethics in business (an oxymoron today), fair wages and treatment
for their employees, quality in manufacture, trade and product and complete
avoidance of bribery, corruption and political sponsorship in their business
dealings.
If the Parsis stand by one thing other than honesty and sincerity,
philanthropy and kindness, it would be serving the community's larger interests.
