MIRAMAR BEACH always reminds me of my Mom and a game/competition as a child.

Those days, during our school times, Miramar Beach was one of the School Picnic
spots others
being Sanjivani Sugar Factory, Madras Rubber Factory, Plastic Factory where
plastic tumblers
etc are made, Old Goa, Mayem Lake, Cashew nut Factory Bicholim etc.

As a school boy (Primary Section), I must have visited Miramar Beach at least 2
times with
other colleagues/school picnic bus. When arrived home, my mother asked me
'Piknic koxi geli?'
'Miramar Nustea pottantulian gelolo?' 'how was the picnic?' Whether you
passed through the
Giant Fish tummy at Miramar?'
The moment I see the giant fish there (at Children Play area) it really reminds
me of my mom.
Pl watch the video where it is shown in details.

Breaking the balloons:
During Christmas time or new year, our local sports clubs used to organised
annual sports for
the locals at the church premises and there were lots of games like Breaking
the pot, tailing
the donkey, slow cycle, treasure hunt, tug-of-war, 100mtrs dash, one legged
fight etc. In the
'breaking the balloons' game, a group of boys (girls separately) were given a
inflated
balloon each and when the whistle blows then every one tries to break each
others balloons in
one hand and by staying within the marked circle limit and whoever survives
with his balloon
intact was the winner.

The two statues at Miramar Circle (see the clip in the beginning also a pic
above) reminded
me of that game - breaking the balloons.

OK, lets visit Miramar Beach here with L'ace MOLLBAVELO DHOU and Shailendra
Singh
