The Goa Sudharop Professional Networking mixer in San Francisco on Nov 17th was well attended by individuals representing a wide age range and number of industries from healthcare, finance, technology, academia, and the theater arts. A number of issues were discussed including the creation of opportunities to get more young individuals involved in civic projects in Alameda and San Francisco counties. Our commitment is to provide guidance and leads to project work and to ensure that a pipeline of young professionals are presented with leadership opportunities. The first few folks to RSVP were invited to a pre-happy hour reception where local connections were established with UCSF and the City and County of San Francisco. Individuals who attended also said they would be happy to help out with promotion of careers/mentorship in their respective industry areas.
