I have often accused the hucksters who denied we faced global warming of being former Tobacco Institute operatives: that was tongue in cheek sarcasm. On Public Radio this morning, the Rockefeller Family Fund disclosed a finding of fraud: that Exxon and Koch had collude to hire the tobacco deniers, fake scientists, to create the 'science' that denies the globe was warming. It is all very ironical, because Exxon, once Standard Oil, was founded by John D Rockefeller. The two Rockefeller Funds, very genuine, like the Clinton Foundation, have given billions around the world to worthy causes. The Trump Fund admitted yesterday that much spending had been directed at self serving causes. It violates US criminal law.
