In addition, the companies in Canada that provide oil, lumber, financial services etc to the US all have US owners - either dirrectly or as mutual fund holders. It is the same in China. Trump will soon be hustled by the vested interests in foreign operations and by those looking to make a fast buck. He will also face opposition from elected US officials if he tries to go on a spending spree. The place where Trump faces no opposition is his promise to eliminate radical Islamic terrorism. He will go overboard in the spending here. I am waiting for the extremist to send Trump his first invitation card. One thing is sure, a lot of people will be looking to make a fast buck by exploiting Trump's ego - and some will succeed spectactully. Mervyn
