Great work guys, much appreciated. Also request the village Panchayat to
place bins with request to place waste in those bins and not to litter.

Again, they swept the entire road area of the ferry crossing. To their surprise, they collected only two and half bags of solid waste as opposed to 8 bags of the similar clean-up a month ago. Christa Cardoso, Nirmala Institute final year student works diligently with youth to motivate them. She feels that such projects send valuable community level messages 'home'. Vrushali Keserker, TYBCOM, Dempo College, was impressed with the co-operation of commuters and general public and believes that eventually people will take care of public spaces. Young Aryan Mortimer, Francis Estibeiro and Analee Britto are delighted with the co-operation of the Forest Department and that, the Panchayat has respected their demand by sending the village waste management team to lift the waste. Analee even convinced her father to join the drive. Way to go! https://www.flickr.com/photos/147888454@N06/shares/4brWAW Lisa Dias-Noronha Chor?o, Tiswadi 403102, Goa
