Opposite Domingos Pizza outlet at the Dona Paula slope, near the fish market, there is a huge rock boulder which is a traffic hazard. The boulder was left behind after the concretisation of the Miramar-Dona Paula road is completed. Also the electrical pole is leaning dangerously. I have brought to the notice of CCP Mayor who said that this work needs to be done by GSIDC and the Electricity Dept and not CCP. But the CCP could act In the vicinity of this rock boulder and got it lifted just two days back. He was found selling food items? When I questioned he said he had no licence and the CCP lifted but why not other gaddas which are on the roadside near Miramar beach, as well in the city? And his reply is most of them have licences. That means that CCP and FDA permit gaddas having licenses to operate on roadside? .So why only certain gaddas are targeted ? Is that they belong to powerful parties? Can these kind of gaddas and agents selling tender coconuts everywhere in the city and even on footpaths are permitted to do such businesses. I see even vehicles parking on the footpaths in this new Miramar road and in the city also, and nobody bothers to take action including FDA, PWD, GSIDC and even Traffic Dept. The question is where else residents should approach to get justice. It has become a fashion to blame every department and pass on the bug to others.
