Hi All
Lent:UK Goans sugar and salt
This year for Lent I am giving up keeping quiet on matters affecting us as a
community. For outsiders and innocent fellow Goans   in daylight  we look  like
sugar and salt all white and different shades of white . Try telling the
difference in Darkness, this is where Gods gift of human senses comes in
“Taste” without this who would know any different.
Similarly the Goan Association (UK) on the outside looks like a proper
community organisation in the light. However it takes a trained eye and
education of how it operates in the dark and under cover of our Religion and
Charity.
Bravo to Mr Joe Rebello a life member in keeping us informed, the rest of our
community is said to be deadwood. I beg to differ as in our DNA we are always
in sleep mode in breadline Britain and perhaps around the world  only coming
into life on offers bargains and the next dance without any input or
involvement  into structure and organisation. We must be obliged to our
voluntary workers caterers tiatris   musicians and the Church for keeping us
going and no thanks to the dark forces that feed of our needs.
Just Saying
