FINAL WEEK: V&A evening and Burgh House Retracing Ribeiro exhibition

The Retracing Ribeiro project explores the artistic and cultural heritage
of the prolific Indian modern artist, Lancelot Ribeiro through an
exploration of his art and poignant archive. In association with the
British Museum, Burgh House Museum, Camden Archives, Central Saint Martins
and the V&A, this project forms part of the 2017 UK-India Year of Culture.
The exhibition at Burgh House presents a few iconic pieces selected from
this artist’s body of work alongside the limited series of naturalistic
watercolours, inspired by Hampstead Heath, as well as archival material
from the family collection.

Now in its final weeks, the V&A’s cultural evening, ‘Ribeiro: A Celebration
of Life, Love and Passion’ is being held on 16 March 2017 to coincide with
the final week of the Burgh House Retracing Ribeiro exhibition.
