He has resigned from the most prestigious an powerful ministry of defense no Goan has ever held so far and is most unlikely in the near future, Following party directives earlier he bowed to the wishes of the party to resign as the CM and joined Defense Ministry, reluctantly We the voters supporters of aging Congress fins such commitment to the party is non existence, They are all glued for self interests and further their prospects only, What explains desertion by the likes of Madaikar, Mauvin Godinho and now Visvajit Rane popularly termed as Judas Iscariot. --------------------GL responds Deep inside me, I am a Congress follower; considering it party of inclusion. Yet we all know that the Congress party has also become the party of corruption. Goans do not have to go far to observe the Congress corruption. The corruption is not hearsay. There is sworn testimony to the effect involving several leaders / seasoned members of the party. So the question remains: Are Goans who are still wedded to the Congress Party just too lazy to think for themselves? And do things for themselves? Just as aside, those Goans weeping for Congress' loss, what exactly did they do physically or monetarily to help Congress win?Did they at least light a candle on election day?So instead of blaming the leaders for desertion, perhaps take a closer look at oneself.
