Sir Cruz born on 23-8-1929, joined the School in 1954 and served as Headmaster from 1972 till retirement in 1989, He received the coveted National award for teacher in 1984 and did not avail of the privilege of the extension in service for a year, After retirement till 2007, he served at Hariyana Sirsa, Hisar, Dabawali and Batinda in Punjab till 2007. Besides he also provided services on invitation in schools run by Pillar Society at Dabal, Collem.Verna, Rivona. He has authored text books in Physics, Chemistry, . Geenral Science, Physic Std VIII and Geography for Std IX X. (ICSE ).He has taught Science, Aritmetic, Maths, History, English (self taught )up to Higher Secondary A master teacher who is self taught and a continuous learner He enjoys photographic memory, fully alert at this advancing age and in good health by grace of God a much loved, admired and respected teacher, who has positively inspired and touched the lives of legions of students, The hearts and minds are permanent monuments wherein his memories are enshrined Nelson Lopes Chinchinim 28-3-2017 3 Attachments
