According to a Punjabi Hindu friend in Toronto, all the irritants initiated by the Sangh Parivar emanates from the RSS whose sole aim is to make life miserable for Muslims in India.
Were not this gentleman (and he is indeed one, generous to a fault and stinking rich) an important donor to the organization in India and on first name terms with biggies there, his opinion would be just that, an opinion albeit a common one. But the guy is soft spoken, never boasts, and has power and authority emanating naturally from his personality. That's why what he says in conversation is more than just a common opinion. He says the Hindus actually have nothing against eating beef, but by slowly destroying the meat industry, they will be destroying the Qureshis a strong butcher clan that earns a good chunk of the 4 billion odd dollars a year that comes from India's meat exports. The party in this objective, cares a damn about the deprivation that meat eaters in India are put through. It reeks of fascism but it is well known that the Sangh Parivar is fascist, if anything. The ban on triple talaq and the pushing of a common civil code is another attack, this time on their religious practices. Never mind that these Islamist tenets are completely against the normal democratic norms of a secular country. The Sangh cares little about what the Muslims do to themselves, what they really want is to show their own power and authority. With power in key states, their shenanigans will only get worse before it gets better. Roland Francis Toronto.
