Suddenly footpaths have become a fashion in some parts of Goa. Around the
Carazalem and Taleigao area the footpaths are paved with kind of Portuguese
tiles. These are built in non populated areas for passeio in the evening and
ogling as it is done in Saligao. Around the Bambolium area the height of the
footpaths are almost that of Mt. Everest. The local populace say that their
built in the name of development and to garner votes. First it was the Rat and
then the Fox followed suit.
