With Goa going to the polls tomorrow, Panchayat Raj in the State is set to meet a very watery grave. After all that blatant rigging in the delimitation and reservation of wards, it is atrocious that the government has had the audacity to hold these elections during monsoons. Probably the High Court may have not realised that polls on a very rainy day would be a washout far from being free and fair. The BJP has been throttling the very foundations of democracy.
