Lisbon, Portugal June 15-17, 2007 Details at:

Philip Thomas said:
'The article also talks about a drop in tourist numbers. One lakh less
foreign tourists and even a 4% drop in domestic tourists. Is this the
effect'.
---
1.Global warming.
2.Tourist not treated well upon landing and departing - at airport.
3.Customs officials.
All this adds up.
Foreign Tourist coming by taxis from other Cities is not correct.
It is convenient and cheaper to come direct to Goa ( for the well
healed - that is).
Only the hippies and such like may be coming from Mumbai and Delhi.
1- I would also like to add that I know of tourist who come to Goa and then
go to B'bay for shopping.
2- I know of people complaining about the hygieneic issues in Goa; I mean the
pollution, dust, spitting (mainly by BHAILE), urinating anywhere, empty bottles
and bags on beaches.
3- Last month a British Tourist complained in the Herald that a 'Goan dumped
a bag of rubbish over the Mandovi Bridge into the Mandovi River'. - Are all
brown people in Goa from Goa? are there BHAILE coming to Goa and polluting,
dumping, rubbish any where?
Goans by and large are well nurtured people, it is the BHAILE who are ruining
the beauty and the sophistication of Goa. GOA AND GOANS GET THE BLAME
