I agree that the term "Liberation" is lazy shorthand to cover-up a whole
lot of issues and concerns. It is probably a cut-and-paste job from
post-World War II See Europe.

But to judge five-and-half decades of social change (positive, negative and
neither-here-no-there)  by whether corriander leaves get washed in some
gutter, and dragging in someone's name into the debate, doesn't make too
much sens eto me.

It only shows the narrowness of our discussion skills.
