On August 21st,2017 a great celestial spectacle in the form of a total solar eclipse will occur over the U.S.only. It will start somewhere in the north Pacific ocean, make a landfall in the State of Oregon, travel across the US from west to east, leave from the shores of South Carolina and disappear somewhere in the central Atlantic ocean. It will last from 01.16 pm to 02.48 pm ET.
A word of caution to President Trump. We in India are somewhat superstitious people. We consider eclipses to be a bad omen. Trump who gave a clarion call ''America First'' may have reached the ears of celestial gods who now gift his nation with a total solar eclipse to ''America Only''. Trump who is no doubt , at loggerheads with the American media regarding the alleged contacts of his election agents with the mortal enemy Putin of Russia , would do well to give second thought before he rushes with his intuitional comments which may give sufficient ammo to Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
