re: "Two or three days of summer."

You are lucky, Mervyn.

We are still waiting for summer to arrive here.

I refused to sit on our deck for our evening glass of wine today because it was
too cold!

The rest of the country seems to be going up in flames.

STRANGE!

We had two or three days of summer (or, summer-like weather) in the midst
of the mosoons, and now a heavyish downpour has just started.

..and believe it or not, Fred, I thought our autumn had arrived a trifle
too early yesterday
when the evening temperature suddenly dropped and I had to swap my shorts
for trousers
and even bring out a sweater this morning!
