Thanks, Fidibus, for the news of fresh child sex scandals. Church clerics of
all ranks right up to cardinal seem fixated on child sex all over the world.
During colonial times, they have played hell on innocent native children in
boarding schools run by the Church in the US, Canada, Caribbean, Australia,
Pacific Islands etc
So what sort of church do we have? And what happens to the solemn vows the
clerics take? Essentially it is a European church who set up the admin
structure and formulated all doctrine and liturgy. The Indian priests were just
coolies who had to carry out whatever the Vatican ordered. For example, they
had to put on those ridiculous cassocks, learn Latin & use the Euro-type
communion wafer. No questions asked.
