It is unfortunate that we do not see our Archbishop conveying Independence Day greetings on 15th August this year as all the newspapers failed to insert his greetings which he used to do it every year. Only Governor and Chief Minister have sent their greetings..I do not understand what this made to do not to appear His greetings? Also The Raj Bhavan chapel feast which is celebrated every year is now been told to the parishioners of Dona Paula and Caranzalem including surrounding areas of Tiswadi taluka to be present at the gate exactly at 10 AM due to security reasons and that the mass also will start exactly at 10 AM I do not understand why there is no permission at the gate for at least 10 minutes early since the mass cannot be postponed. This way people will reach a bit late for the Mass which is not correct as per our religion timings as we have to be in time otherwise the mass is invalid. I request Her Excellency Mridula Sinha to give instructions at the security gate to allow people to enter at least minimum 10 minutes early. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
