A bit unfair.
I take it by Goans you mean Catholics. Surely it is the western ambience
(including Christian culture) that has earned Goa so much attention
worldwide.
Else, we would have another Uttar Pradesh with its cow fixations, sadhus,
swamis and feudal rituals.
But sadly Catholics are in a minority - just 25%?
So even if all the Catholics had voted for the non-BJP candidate, the
Parrikar joker would win.
