Bharat played Macau in a AFC fixture at the Taipa Stadium in Macau. At times one wondered if the team would stick to playing cricket. Although it is believed that Bharat played a kind of B team they failed to bury the game, and it was only late in the second half that they scored 2 goals. Part timers Macau parked their bus and the bharatis could not invent to penetrate the Macau defence. The only top strike was a hit to the upright in the first half. Most of the shots were off target.
