We are born of dust and shall return to dust. Only humans have both life and soul. If there is no system in place than everything around us would be in utter chaos. The Creator has made the universe and all in it systematically. And the research and analysis of this creation is what we call science. Science has come up with The Big Bang theory to explain the formation of the universe. Some small cosmic object exploding into the ever bigger universe we now have. Who created this cosmic object causing the Big bang, is still to be found.
St Stephen the first martyr, the disciples and the Apostles (except St John) all suffered violent death. While on Earth they experienced the glory of God and hence willingly laid down their life for a glorious afterlife. Even to this day we hear of Christians around the world martyred for their belief. Their belief in the resurrected Christ and salvation of their soul. They have experienced the glory of God.
