Very saddened by the very untimely death of Goa’s outstanding journalist Vasu Naik who passed away yesterday after a brief heart ailment. An all-rounder, the Ponda based Vasu Naik was always willing to help and assist one and all.
Always with a broad outlook, extremely humane and very assuming, Vasu Naik had joined us at Ribandar in this year’s Sao Joao celebrations on 24th June. As a fair and fearless journalist, Vasu Naik was inspired by those words of Thomas Jefferson “When the press is free and every man able to read, all is safe”. May the life and works of Vasu Naik be a guiding light to all in that noble profession. Let us pray that the Almighty grant the soul of our departed friend Vasu Naik eternal peace.
