I get the distinct impression that the writer is a non-Goan. So on Goanet (an international forum) the Goan writers pen derogatory articles about Goa while the non-Goans write welcoming and picturesque articles of a very touristy and progressive Goa. Should not this be the other-way around? BTW, how and why did Goa get these well painted temples, churches, forts etc., etc? And of course not to mention the various amenities which the author describes. And who paid for these things? Hint ---- Tourists!!!! Regards, GL
