On 18th November, author Jessica Faleiro will conduct a Travel Writing Workshop for Beginners at Gallery Gitanjali in Fontainhas, Panjim from 10am to 2pm.
Jessica Faleiro is the author of ‘Afterlife: Ghost stories from Goa’ and has published travel features in Forbes, The Times of India, Skyscanner, Coldnoon and Joao Roque Literary Journal. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Kingston University, UK. During the workshop Jessica will talk about different travel writing formats and styles, how to structure a travel article, writing for magazines and blogs and cover the dos and don’ts of travel writing. Jessica’s workshop facilitation style involves a combination of teaching, writing exercises and reading. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand how to improve their own writing and will leave with a few written drafts that they can further refine in their own time.
