UK: Goa State represented at World Travel Mart 6-8 November 2017 World Travel Market London is the leading global event for the travel industry, generating more than £2.8 billion of business contracts between attendees. Now in its 37th year, this show attracts a global audience that shape the travel industry.
Over the last three days, the travel industry came together with almost 5,000 exhibiting destinations, technology and private sector companies to find and network with 51,000 travel professionals, key industry buyers, journalists, digital influencers, students and tourism Ministers. Goa State was represented by the Director of Tourism Mr.Menino D’Souza and his team from Goa Tourism Development Corporation. Goa stand in the area within India took centre stage with an evening Goa Party by various entertainers presenting Goan folklore music and dance. Visitors had an opportunity to sample Goan Fish Curry with steamed rice garnished with purple sliced Onion, Tomato and Lemon, amongst Cashew nuts and other savouries washed down with water soft drink or wine.
