The PM has apologized now and again to different groups;

To the Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims who tried to come to Canada on the Komagatsu
Maru, a ship that in 1914 was filled with persecuted refugees that was not
given safe harbour.

To the Native Indians who were ill-treated through the years by herding them in
reservations, their comforts and rights completely ignored and their treaties
violated.

To the LGBTQ who were at the receiving end of human rights violations in their
positions in the federal Govt, the armed forces and the security organizations.

Individual cases, each and every one of them, could make you cry and Justin
Trudeau to his credit, did, when tendering those apologies.

May be the healing begins.
