As clearly mentioned in previous issues , Parrikar is the right man in
the wrong party. I agree that he may be one of the most highly
educated politicians out there , but this does not necessarily make
him the best.Our level of education or the number of degrees we have
stashed in our cupboards are hardly the right metrics to measure the
decision making abilities of an individual.As for Churchill and
Joaquim Alemao , even though they might not be the ideal candidates,
but they were certainly better than the opposition and clearly
deserved to be elected.The anti BJP sentiments are still very high in
the salcette taluka , and i doubt that is ever going to change for a
long long time ...!!
