Alas, too little, too late. The damage wrought on the BJP on this site, showed up in the results ! Another fact not known, is that Parrikar had asked his staunch supporter to cool off, as his postings were a detriment instead of promoting. His staunch supporter was absent for a while and only came back after the the hustings were closed. If it were not for triangular and some quadrangular contests, the BJP would have been a further 2/3 seats short. Next time round, they will do well, if they come up in single figures. The Goan population should now, not sit on their laurels but get on with keeping close tabs on their respective MLA's and the performance of the Government. I sincerely hope that this Government has learnt from previous lessons and will try to accommodate the People and seek guidance before proceeding on reckless projects ! 6 Years is a long wait, what will Aires and Carmo do in the meantime ? Hopefully, keep up as before and help keep the Government on its toes....nothing like a man scorned. -- DEV BOREM KORUM. Gabe Menezes.
