*THE BIG FOOT CROSS MUSEUM RECEIVES VISITORS FROM THE WORLD OVER*
The Big Foot Cross Museum in Loutolim is a one of its kind museum, hosting over 1600 crosses made of assorted materials and collected from all over the world. These crosses are carefully classified into various characteristic styles and displayed for the public Wednesday through Monday from 10 am to 5 pm. It has entered the Limca Book of Records, World Records India, Unique World Records, India Book of Records and Assist World Records for being the largest curated collection of Crosses in the world. On their recent trip to Goa, the Most Rev. Peter Abir Antonysamy, Bishop of Sultanpet and Rev. Msgr. Kenneth P. McAteer from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA visited the Big Foot Cross Museum accompanied by Fr. Joaquim Loiola Pereira, Secretary to the Archbishop of Goa. Impressed with the collection the Bishop opined, 'a most intricate and detailed collection, highly informative!' he urged visitors to Goa to visit the premises and partake of the abundance of knowledge available to the curious mind.
