------------------------------------------------------- CONVENTION OF THE GOAN DIASPORA FROM GOA INTO THE WORLD Lisbon, Portugal June 15-17, 2007 Details at: http://www.casadegoa.org -------------------------------------------------------
Dear Goanetters, Greetings from a sunny windy and Gonu-effected Dubai.... So finally the suffocating turncoat from margao has grabbed the opportunity of a lifetime...the Cm post itself. I wonder what parikar will have to say that. The congress highcommand has once again betrayed true goans like Ravi naik - bet he was the best choice who had the guts to jail churchill and rudolf at one time. We need people like that today. not communial turncoats who preach and practice communiliasm under the secular Congress umbrella. Goans must chase margaret alva as she has made khichdi of the political mess in Goa. Goans also check the investments and land acquasations Margaret Alva has supposodely made in Goa. I give Digamber not more than three months. i see a revolt brewing with Ravi naik and his many other legislator supporters and i see the greatest match-fixer Parriker donning the mantle of a wicket keeper to stump out Digamber kamat, i see Chuchill at first slip and Babush at second slip, i see mickey doing the bowling and many opportunist unsuccesful (to get ministerial berths in the current dispensation) fielders in the field. i see a Joaquim Alemao, waiting to hit the wickets in the run-up to the swearing in ceremony. My good old friend/mentor Rajan Narayan rightly says: between the cup and the lip...there's always a slip...and parikar has rightly said: the congress has won the toss, not the match: Goans; watch the scene carefully...its going to be a free for all sooonnnnn Regards Cedric da Costa Dubai-UAE ------------------------------------------------------- Goanet recommends, and is proud to be associated with, 'Domnic's Goa' - A nostalgic romp through a bygone era.
