On my drive on Britannia Rod, I suddenly noticed a signboard, Viva La Goa -- an Indian Cuisine. On my way, back I stopped on the small mall, located at Millicreek Dr, and Britannia, and went into the restaurant. I saw interior work being done. On asking one of the workers, I was told the restaurant will start sometime in April. Well, hope this Goan/Indian restaurant succeeds, as a couple of them, though not serving just Goan cuisine but Indian/Western too, went out of business. At the launch of the Milton chapter of Overseas Goan Assn, I went to a stall called Chorisaga (obviously combing Chori from Chorico and Saga from Mississauga). It's located in Mississauga. Don't know if they operate from home but they have a website. Another person sells the GOANA products. I believe he operates from Brampton. There is also a person selling Goana Products, a full range of masalas in packets available in many Indian grocery stores. One more I can across is Goan Krazy, who sells sausages. They are also located in Mississauga. Hopefully Viva La Goa will satisfy the Goan tastebuds.
