Roland, you're only partly right. There have been serious efforts by the BJP to incorporate the Sikhs in their plans, some quite successful in recent times. They had a SAD-BJP government in Punjab till recently. SAD stands for Shiromani Akali Dal. FN
PS: The House of Commons has more Goan Catholic MPs than the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha put together. Or almost as many Goan MPs (of all religions) if you take Keith, Suella and Valerie Vaz, even leaving aside the one prominent Goan son-in-law in Labour?
