Let the Israeli drug gangs and Russian mafia come and "fill in the blanks", where native ganja peddlers, the "light a joint" type hippies and local real estate sharks have left a vacuum. Let cells of terrorist set up camps to operate from, where our gavti type small time crooks and criminals have not lived up to the potential available in Goa. Let every seasonal, migratory, out-of-work economic refugee from the furtherest corners of India come and set up a shanti in our communidade lands because anyway our bhatkars are now in Portugual and after they've finished with those lands, let them legitimately or illegitamately occupy the fields, the hillocks, the railway tracks, and the 2x4 sq foot of land the last Goan in Goa is squatting on. Afterall, we haven't learnt any lessons from the metros of Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi. Let everyone come, never mind whether Goa has the infrastructure to cope with such a mass influx of people, never mind whether Goa has the geographical space to cope with such an influx, whether we have the wherewithal to stand the depression in local wages this will result in, the burden on the social welfare exchequer, the stress on its eco-system, the reconfiguration of its political systems and vote-banks, never mind all that.
