Chetan Bhagat says: the Indian Bus is falling apart – engine oil running out, brakes broken down, leakages in the fuel-tank, and gears refusing to mesh. But still, I see it carrying a load of passengers from point A, although with no guarantee of reaching point B. I believe the reason for such a situation is that the spare-parts are either in short supply, or missing altogether; the only one that is not, and honking out loud being the horn itself. Passengers begin shouting in disgust: “change the driver.” So in keeping with democratic principles, the driver’s seat sees new bottoms on it - in fact, one too many. But the problem persists. Finally, patience runs out and common sense sets in. Passengers now think it is better to have the Bus changed – not the drivers.
