THE DAILY GRIND

A home-cooked meal can hardly escape the mention of the woman that grinds the 
basics of that very treat. Her flexible fingers mix and mesh the ‘masalas’ that 
make music to palates around the world; particularly, the Goan fish-curry that 
has now traced the steps from a humble grind-stone to global dining tables. Her 
involvement is synonymous with the very essence of Goan gastronomy.
