The Indian Defence Ministry seems to be a refuge of buffoons. First you have a DM (Parrikar) who takes a shipboard inaugural salute in Kohapuri chappals while sailors, officers and admirals in spit-polished leather black shoes are the very epitome of ceremony formality.
Then you have a DM (Sitharaman) who has no business with fugitives abroad escaping from punishment for economic crimes but makes a public statement that India will get back these criminals (while Dawood Ibrahim the Indian mafia kingpin responsible for all manner of major crimes continues to thumb his finger at the Indian Govt while living a princely life in a neighboring country and controlling crimes within India). No wonder China thinks they can whip a pesky India with their left hand while eating breakfast with their right.
