Dear Brothers and sisters There was a huge crowd on the hill side.People had come to hear the good word of God from Jesus. There was something great in this ordinary man called Jesus.Jesus preached the word of God with authority.He could do this as he was God himself.He said I live in my father and father in me.He came into this world to direct the people towards His Father.Jesus started his ministry in Galilee and remained withing the perifery of his own land.What was the reason for this? The idea was that he would first convert his own people who in turn would convert the others and the circle would grow wide like the ripple in the lake or well when a stone is thrown into it.Jesus chose only twelve disciples to go with him as witness to his teachings.He knew that these twelve would not be able to do anything to help him spread the gospel but when touched with the Holy Spirit they would be on fire. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets,I have come not to abolish but to fulfil."Mt 5"17.The one who comes from heaven is above all says Jesus.The one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about the earthly things.Jesus has testified to what he has seen and heard yet no one accepted him and his testimony.Who ever has testified his testimony has certified that God is true.The father loves the son and has placed all things in his hands.Who ever believes in the son has eternal life and who ever disobeys the son will not see life.Jn My dear brothers and sisters Jesus can give us happiness.If only if we had to drop all our worries and turned to the Lord happiness would have been in our store room for ever.But we try to achieve happiness through money, and other wealth and glory. All Glory should be given to God and He will glorify whom He wants to be glorified. He glorified His only son Jesus. There is ample proof to prove that Jesus is the son of GOd because God himself has testified many times. At the time of Baptism of Jesus, transfiguration etc. I am writing this because Jesus has asked each and everyone of us to proclaim the gospel.Once a Hindu friend of mine was seriously ill.He was suffering from hypertension .He sent me an email asking me to pray for him.I wrote to him to look up to Jesus and ask him to help y ou.I quoted scriptures specially narrating how Jesus cured the lepers , the lady who had bleeding for twelve years and how her faith could cure her.This friend of mine was depressed with his sickness but my writing to him about Jesus he felt that he could see light on the other side of a dark tunnel and gradually his health improved and got out of bed with h ope that God wants him to live and live happily for God created happiness.Last year in the month of August when my hindu brothers were celebrating Ganesh festival I woke up with a swollen leg.I could not walk without my spouse's help.I felt the whole world had come crashing down on me.I totally depended on others for everything.I had become totally handicapped. When the doctor was called he could give me physical relief to just ten percent but my emotions and spiritualism had flown down the drains. I was mentally feeling depressed and weak.I did not like to burden others even though she may be my spouse.I felt that I was at the mercy of other people. I needed consolation.At that moment I felt someone telling me "Maim hoom nam?" I am there is n't it? I felt God himself is telling me "Look son I am there " did I not say that I will be there with you till the end of times? " Tears started to flow down my eyes and again and again I heard the words of my savious"I am there with you fear not. This revived my spirit.With that spirit I forced myself to walk and help myself with my work.This Jesus in me cured me completly and made me whole again. My dear brothers and sisters cling to Jesus.He is there. He has been saying to us "Maim hoom nam?
