A junior hockey team in Saskatchewan travelling in a bus for a league game in a
town two hours away was broadsided at an intersection by a loaded semi that
resulted in the death of 16 team members, driver and officials.

It made international headlines and a GoFundMe campaign with a target of 4
million, has now reached 11 million in less than a couple of weeks.

This article explains the problems that will arise from fairly distributing the
money.

The semi transport truck was driven by an inexperienced driver who had only
recently received his transport licence and was owned by Adesh Deol Trucking
Ltd., also fairly newly started.
