Our Indian Telecom babus (especially Ambani’s Reliance) are looking into the mechanics of 5G. While 4G transmits 100 MB per sec, 5G is expected to transmit 1 GB per sec. In addition, latency (delay between sending & receiving signals) is said to be reduced from 40 millisecs to 1ms. As usual, Indian technology can hardly cope with 4G, so will 5G take off? In addition, they may not be aware of the neuro risks associated with 5G but who knows, given Indian spiritual ingenuity, they may overcome the dangers by invoking assorted gods and godmen.
