It is Trump’s childish strategy to work up an unprovoked war of words with
countries he makes the Americans hate for no reason, then pulls off a
‘friendship coup’ with them to show how he got the better of their hostility
and how America won after all. He did it with Korea and is now doing the same
with Iran.

Never mind how much damage he has caused the American image or hurt the
credibility of his staff who are left to deal with the Koreans and the Iranians
after Trump’s fit is over.

Big threats are made from both sides but what’s the worst they can do to each
other?

America can place an embargo or sanctions. Europe, Russia and the world are fed
up of these and will along with China, soon leave America out of international
finance and trade

America can bomb Iran. And then what? Iran can survive that, it is not Vietnam,
Iraq, Syria or Libya. America cannot send troops to the other side of that
world - they will be slaughtered.

On the other side, Iranians can be as fanatical and zealous as they can be
extremely friendly and nice. There are thousands of vulnerable soft targets
they can go for and make America’s 2011 tragedy look like a boy-scout camp.
Then they can cause enough trouble in the Middle East to send international
trade and markets in a tizzy with CEO’s in the States packing off Trump and his
crew to the Arizona desert.

What I am saying is: Trump does not or appears not to know his limitations and
Rouhani will not care how much his people suffer (remember the Iran-Iraq war?).
