( Calcutta Anglo, probably La Martiniere prose )
Thank you  for 'walking ' with us on this journey during August's battle
with this illness. August made sure his end of the journey did not define his
life.  Always one to think outside the square, he was exceptional.  He always
focused on the positive for himself and others, never waved the flag of his
successes...in fact it was the other way around...a humble man.  Will miss him
all the days of my life. He has been part of my life since I was 17 . However,
we will try to pick up the pieces of our lives, and live them out as he
wished...to enjoy every day as a bounty and a blessing.  Thank you, dear Eric.
Will stay in touch.
