Indian racism is common knowledge, but what many don’t know is that they are racists even with each other.
Here are some common derogatory name-expletives: Bengalis: Bongs or Chotto Babus (minor pedants) Parsees: Bawajees or Ghelchodios (mad fornicators) Goans: Maa Ka Paos: (sounds like mother******* but as someone consolingly told me it means “I want bread”). Tamil Brahmins: Tam-brams (always screwing with other people’s jobs) Anglo Indians: Ek din ka raja (king for a day, pauper for a month). Gujaratis: Gujjus or grass-eaters. Keralites: Coconut Oils (women drown their lush hair in it, also they have assets like coconuts). All North Indians: Bhaiyas (people with not so dignified jobs).
