In a major setback to the BJP, the Bombay High Court at Goa yesterday struck down the very high-handed appointment of Sonia Kuncaliencar as a Director of Goa Urban Co-operative Bank.
The High Court ruled that the appointment was illegal, ultra vires and a very colorful exercise of Power. Sonia Kuncaliencar is the wife of former Panaji MLA Sidharth Kuncaliencar who is the side kick and collection agent of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. Time for the BJP to look beyond the Parivar.
