Thanks for your response.  Your nomenclatures are uncommon words on Goanet and 
perhaps in Konkani. I think the closest rendition to "My apologies" is "Gunaum 
bogos". This denotes both an acceptance of a mistake as well as a request for a 
pardon.

I hope we can see on Goanet (and other Goan bulletin boards) more frequent use 
of a phrase from your selection.  

Likely we will see these words being used by self-confident, intelligent 
Goenkars like Selma and supurlo Goenkars (like me).  Many may be hesitant to 
use any of your choice of pharses and thus display their vulnerable side. Who 
could blame them for that? Most Goans like to think of themselves as 
"near-perfect."
