A song popularised quite a bit by All India Radio back in Goa too, maybe by another singer.
Strange how ethnicity and century old links kicked into place, when Goa encountered Mangalorean music specially via radio some decades ago. The music was well appreciated here too, and why not. It's cool. For today's generation, we have RadioMango.ca and the NZ Konkani initiative. Unlike Goans, the Mangaloreans have managed to stay in touch with their Konkani connects. Good for them. A nice link.
