On the very crucial and critical Madhei water dispute issue, the Goa Government needs to immediately replace the devious Atmaram Nadkarni with an advocate who is very honest, sincere, competent and trustworthy.
Atmaram Nadkarni had the audacity of going to the extent of publicly brandishing Goan environmentalists Dr Claude Alvares, Rajendra Kerkar, Nirmala Sawant, Dr Nandkumar Kamat and others as ‘spent forces’ The major setback now suffered by Goa in the water dispute is on account of Atmaram Nadkarni’s now exposed incompetence and devious tactics. He has already burdened the tax payers of Goa by the crores he pocketed through legal fees and is looking forward to a further windfall on this issue. Sorrowing lies our Goa.
