At prayer. I visited the Jesuit Retreat House called Seven Fountains the day
before yesterday. I was pleased to be at evening mass with Fr Paul Pollock, 78,
SJ, as celebrant. He’s from California and has made Thailand his home for
spiritual ministries for over 50 years. I had spent a year with him in the same
Jesuit house, De Nobili College in Pune in 1971, he studying theology then and
I philosophy. His peaceful presence does much for the many priests and sisters
who come here. On a happy note, my sister’s daughter, Hungary-based Andrea and
her husband Felipe welcomed their first child, Tiago David on the 5th in
Portugal. May many blessings come upon the new born child. The Psalmist reminds
us to be ever grateful. “Great are the works of the Lord, exquisite in all
their delights”
